You are eligible if;
- Your work makes a demonstrable impact in one or more of these areas: The Arts, scientific research, education, environment, healthcare and/or poverty allieviation;
- Your venture is at a post-launch stage and is ready to scale;
- You are the Founder/Co-Founder/CEO of the venture
You need to complete the online application form. If you're are eligible then we'll then follow up with a short phone call to learn more about you and your business issue, after this you'll be matched with the most appropriate Expert.
Applications are considered on a rolling basis, but do get in touch sooner rather than later as each Expert only holds a limited number of sessions which are allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
You will be matched with an Expert who has expressed interest in your area of work, who has considerable experience in dealing with the issue you want to discuss and who we believe you will have the best connection with.
The process is totally bespoke, we don't use an automated system to generate matches.
You get to spend an hour with one of our Experts. You can talk about anything you'd like, with the one house rule that you cannot ask the Expert to invest in your venture. You get the chance to build your network and borrow the brain of a high profile successful entrepreneur to find new perspectives and interesting solutions to your business issues.
You most certainly can, we expect that our Experts will have a lot of helpful contacts that will be relevant to you and your business.
No, this is not an opportunity to pitch for investment to our Experts. This is a chance to ask their advice and get them to share their experience and connections with you. There are many sources of finance out there for businesses, there are not many people who have been there, done that and succeeded as entrepreneurs!
Once you complete your HLL session, you will become an Expert Impact Alumni. You can then take advantage of the many events that we host for our impressive Alumni network - networking opportunities, regular impact lab roundtables and speaking opportunities at larger events.
