Rob has a reputation for being a knowledgeable businessman and social entrepreneur. His pioneering career spans the inception of the ground-breaking TV show Big Brother’s online platform through to River Cottage, the ethical food brand.

Crowdfunder, which he co-founded in 2013, has helped over 300,000 projects raise more than £250m for great causes. It is the UK’s biggest crowdfunding platform and offers matched funding from partners for some projects.

Rob was named as one of top ten UK entrepreneurs under 30 by Barclays Mercantile and has been a finalist in Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year competition. He has also been a mentor and judge for Sir Richard Branson’s Pitch-to-Rich (VOOM), Santander, Techstars, M&S, NatWest and many other competitions for entrepreneurs, seeing thousands of new business ideas at a time.
