Maymessy is an empowering cookery school and wellness centre supporting disadvantaged groups to gain greater wellbeing and life skills.

We support young carers, young people in the care system, families struggling financially, those with special needs and refugee families.

Young people (8-24 years old) and adults come away with greater self esteem and confidence, learn to work as a team, gain more knowledge of healthy eating and experience reduced loneliness.

We offer bespoke workshops such as cooking healthy recipes on a budget, yoga and gardening.

Maymessy is where good food gets its boots muddy, offering kids and young adults needing support the chance to follow their fruit and veg from plot via pan to plate. And we also have lots of fun!

Roland was a brilliant mentor – a perfect match as I wanted an entrepreneur with creative vision. I have come away with some great ways of how I can grow, who I could reach out to, and who to collaborate and partner with.
