We are a local media organisation and social enterprise in Bristol. We recently launched a membership model to support our independent journalism and community projects.

Social purpose is at the heart of everything we do at Bristol24/7. Our core values of independence, integrity, inspiration, inclusion and investment in the people of Bristol guide our social impact agenda.

Our priorities are to create opportunities for young people, inspire communities and celebrate Bristol’s diversity through storytelling.

We want to represent the whole of Bristol and work hard to engage with and provide a platform for marginalised individuals and hard to reach communities. Bristol24/7 is the South West’s Bristol’s biggest independent magazine and website and your first port of call to find out what’s happening across Bristol with news, features, what’s on listings and everything in between.

Our award winning work experience programme provides real life experience to a wide range of young people, including those who would not usually get opportunities to develop skills in the media industry. More than 500 people have gained work experience at Bristol24/7 HQ with many going on to follow careers in journalism. Some are now working at national newspapers.

In 2017, Bristol24/7 launched an ambitious social impact programme delivering projects that have changed the lives of many who live in the city.

In 2018, Bristol24/7 launched Better Bristol, an initiative to bring together its social and environmental aspirations, support its editorial independence and build a collaborative approach to making a better Bristol.

Hugh has a huge amount of experience in launching and helping to scale businesses. He was keen to understand our business and generous with his advice. I have no hesitation in recommending Hugh to anyone looking for insight into digital businesses or looking to innovate and grow.
