Equal Education is a social enterprise that provides teacher assistance to children in care, giving them access to special educational tuition.

It trains and hires contract teachers to work in this specialist area and sells its services to local authorities. Its trained teachers work in schools and virtual schools. It is effectively a specialist agency, with 1,000 teachers on its books.

“We find, recruit and train teachers and work with local authorities to help education outcomes for people in care,” Paul explains.
