Athlete Ally is a non-profit organisation and sports resource founded in 2011. It encourages all individuals involved in sports to respect every member of their communities, regardless of perceived or actual sexual-orientation or gender identity or expression, and to lead others in doing the same.

Our mission is to end the rampant homophobia and transphobia in sport and to activate the athletic community to exercise their leadership to champion LGBTQI+ equality.

Alex brought incredible insight and expertise to our conversation that provided targeted, actionable advice to address challenges facing our organisation.
