Emma Heathcote-James

Eco warrior entrepreneur

Emma Heathcote-James is the founder of the multi-award-winning LITTLE SOAP COMPANY, and is one of the few recognisable female gay business leaders in the UK today.

Emma created Little Soap Company in 2008. A true kitchen table to supermarket shelf success story, bringing the first natural and organic soaps to the supermarkets and finally giving consumers a choice on shelf.  Emma has built a portfolio of brands including Eco Warrior that have all the accreditations one would expect from a sustainable, ethical business: Vegan, Cruelty Free, RSPO Palm. All made in UK by a business that is certified BCorp and carbon negative.

Emma and Little Soap Company have acquired a storeroom full of accolades and awards, most recently The Queens Award for Enterprise Award for Sustainable Development. Her journey is one of the most powerful stories on SME entrepreneurship in the UK today.

Emma is warm and engaging speaker or panellist and, as a champion and role model for women in business, LBGTQ+, and sustainable entrepreneurship is an open, adaptable, relatable guest for your internal or external audiences.
