Titan of tech
Jacqueline De Rojas

Jacqueline is the President of membership organisation techUK and the President of the Digital Leaders board.

Described as a ‘titan of tech’ by the Evening Standard, Jacqueline is one of the UK’s most senior figures in tech and focuses on supporting tech leaders to provide proactive and practical opportunities that encourage diversity and inclusion or that use tech for good to tackle the global challenges of our time.

“If we are to thrive in a digital future which includes everybody, we must ensure that we have all of our voices heard when it comes to designing technology. If we do not, we risk creating a world which is for the few and not for the many,” she said.

She sits as a Non-Executive Director on the boards of UK technology business Rightmove and engineering company Costain, which provides the nation’s infrastructure and also serves on the board of skills and professional services business FDM Group plc. She is the chair at Metapraxis Ltd and serves on the board of privately held software enterprise business IFS AB.

Jacqueline has advised the government on post-18 education and is a business mentor at Merryck Group offering board and executive level coaching.

She is also the co-chair at the Institute of Coding, advises the board of accelerateHer to support female entrepreneurs and lends her support to the Girlguiding Association for technology transformation.

She is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion which informs where she places her support.

Jacqueline was awarded a CBE for Services to International Trade in Technology in the Queen’s New Year Honours list 2018.
