Victoria Emslie is an accomplished actor, social entrepreneur, and passionate advocate for diversity, equality, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA). Known for her roles in Downton Abbey, The Theory of Everything, The Danish Girl, and Grace, Victoria brings a fresh and dynamic perspective to every project she undertakes—whether on screen, behind the scenes, or on stage as a speaker.

In 2019, Victoria launched Primetime at the Cannes Film Festival, a global platform designed to transform hiring practices in the entertainment industry. By connecting industry professionals from over 75 countries—including multi-BAFTA, Emmy, and Academy Award winners—Primetime helps productions find and hire talent more inclusively. The initiative recently expanded into film funding, wrapping its first project starring Jodie Whittaker, which centres on a disabled story and filmmaker. With four more projects in development, Primetime is leading by example in redefining industry standards.

Victoria is also a multiply neurodivergent individual who sits on BAFTA’s Disability Advisory Group. Her lived experience fuels her activism, which began with movements like Time’s Up UK and ERA 50:50. She has become a sought-after voice on topics ranging from storytelling as a societal tool to neurodiversity as an asset in building new worlds.

Her expertise spans panels, roundtables, masterclasses, and hosting duties at prestigious events such as the Cannes Film Festival, Aesthetica, and flagship Web3 and AI conferences including Digital Arts Week.
