Jacques Villeneuve

F1 legend
Jacques Villeneuve

Jacques is one of only three drivers ever to achieve winning the ‘triple’, having won the Indy Car series in the United States in 1995, the world-famous Indianapolis 500 and the Formula One World Championship in 1997.

His F1 win for the Williams-Renault team was a remarkable feat, given that he achieved it in only his second full season of Formula One motor racing, and against arch rival Michael Schumacher. In his first season in Formula One, 1996, he finished 2nd in the World Championship, an astonishing achievement in only his first season at the pinnacle of world motor sport.

Today Jacques is an expert Formula One commentator on both French and Italian television, undertakes corporate appearances and is a partner in a race-track design company.
