Michael Frohlich

Michael Frohlich became the UK CEO at Ogilvy, a global advertising & marketing agency, in February 2018, tasked with maintaining a leading position for the company in an ever-changing marketing landscape.

Since first joining Ogilvy in 2012, Michael has led the successful transformation of Ogilvy PR in the UK and then across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Ogilvy is just one company of many in the WPP portfolio and Michael is notable for bringing several of those companies to work together to win the accounts of British Airways and International Airlines Group.

This saw him broaden his remit across the integrated marketing landscape to lead a cross-agency team of advertising, media, production, social and other creative services.

Under his stewardship, Ogilvy has won a raft of several major awards including a Cannes Lion, and the PRCAs Large Consultancy of the Year two years in a row. Michael also appears as a regular judge across major industry awards.

His 20 year career in marketing and communications includes roles as Managing Director of Shine Communications and founding Resonate, a UK award-winning consumer consultancy which became part of Bell Pottinger in 2007.

Michael is also a member of the International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO) Board of Management and Chairman of the IPA 44 Club.
