Michael Frohlich

Michael Frohlich became the Europe, Middle East and Africa CEO of Weber Shandwick, a leading global integrated communications agency, in September 2021, tasked with maintaining a leading position for the company in an ever-changing marketing landscape. In addition, he takes the role of Global Transformation Lead.

Previously, Michael spent a decade working across various roles at Ogilvy, a global advertising and marketing company, most recently serving as their UK Group CEO. Ogilvy is just one company of many in the WPP portfolio and Michael is notable for bringing several of those companies to work together to win the accounts of British Airways and International Airlines Group.

This saw him broaden his remit across the integrated marketing landscape to lead a cross-agency team of advertising, media, production, social and other creative services.

His 25 year career in marketing and communications includes roles as EMEA CEO of Ogilvy PR, Managing Director of Shine Communications and founding Resonate, a UK award-winning consumer consultancy which became part of Bell Pottinger in 2007.
