Angie Robinson

Angie first became a CEO in 1997. She went on to lead five organisations until her retirement from full time work in 2017.

During her career she has held numerous Executive and Non Executive Director positions in the public, private and third sector including a role as Chair of a business support company delivering help to social enterprises and the voluntary sector.

Angie was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the University of Salford for her work in partnership and economic regeneration. She was also awarded a medal of honour from the University of Manchester in recognition of her contribution to the business community .

Her last full time role was as CEO of the award winning convention centre in Manchester, Manchester Central.

Angie is currently Chair of Marketing Cheshire, Board Director of Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership, Chair of Remuneration and Governance at One Manchester housing association and is Deputy Chair of governors at a primary school in Cheshire that two of her grandchildren attend. She is also a Deputy Lieutenant for Cheshire.
